since my last post  i became a year older  i broke the 60 barrier now 61 ...  the verdict is still out on wether or not i became wiser ...  however till we wait on the verdict it seems the time to send some love out hideaway style  ~~~

i threw it away today

the chicken soup

i made for him

when i heard

he was

under

the weather

i still have it

saved

on my cell

the breathless

 message left

as he hailed

 a taxi

to urgent care

with a bug

i filed

in my recall

a conversation

of relief

 Monday morning

before ICU/CCU

on floor # 8

i heard

his last words

on earth

& a million

before

i will no time

soon

 forget the shock

of seeing

a perfect

body build

needing

nine bags full

& a machine

do its breathing

comatose

blue eyes

 crescent mooned

 no change

 two weeks

passed

condition worsening

 i felt an umption

so i went 

 sat

& talked with him

 on

Sunday evening

before his depature

how extremely

awkward

because for

5  plus years

i was

 the listener

possibly why

my grief runs

so deep

he left the gift

of assurance

my heart had

not closed 

like a trap

& tho i doubted

i know

i've known my purpose

on this lifepath
